rough day ^maybe trigger^
I literally just cut, and that was after 2 weeks of not cutting. 2 weeks for me is pry like 2 months for most. I used to cut multiple times a day, normally everyday. I then went to a counselor, who helped me quit. I just couldn't stand it last night, but now i can't believe i did. plz help

My best advice when you relapse is to not beat yourself up about it but look at it as a one time mistake and work to not make that mistake again. Proud of you for the 2 weeks you went without cutting! Little by little and you'll get there!

Just wanted to update this post by saying that I haven't cut for 2 months. The main reason is because i now live with a family that attends the same church as me, and help out with the youth group that i am now forced to go to (i used to but then i stopped). They knew that I cut, and therefore they have taken away anything they think i can/could cut with. It's annoying, but now the frustration that would normally make me cut, and the frustration that I can't cut, is taken out on/with my laptop when i write in my journal. I've found other ways to take out the "whatever" that would make me cut, and even though i do them, i'm not sure that they're healthy.

Congrats on your 2 months cut free. Writing in your journal is a great way to express your feelings without self harming. Can you talk about the "whatever" that tends to tempt you to self injure?
