'Tear down the Facade of Perfection' Empty 'Tear down the Facade of Perfection'

'Tear down the Facade of Perfection'. Some days are just tough days, we struggle in our walk with God. However, it is interesting how we often feel a pressure NOT to let another christian know this - so we fight the battles alone, wearily presenting the facade of having it all together. I can understand not letting a judgmental Christian know about your struggles...who wants to be hammered, judged, and sent on your way with a cliche? However, there are many Christians who will not judge you, they themselves experience rough days, so they will encourage you, pray for you and help carry part of the burden with you. This process of sharing your need and receiving encouragement from another Christian is God's plan and it can be a tremendous help and encouragement. But if you insist on 'going it alone,' wow, tough days can be REALLY tough!! God never intended for us to always present a pictur of spiritual perfection - living this way is so tiring. Check out the verses below, open your heart and let God help you through the encouragement of another Christian.:

"Practice bearing one another's burdens, and in this way fulfill the law of Christ." Galatians 6:2

"Confess your faults to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed." James 5:16
