Fear totally random poem

Yet another poem from me once im on a writing spree I can't stop. This one was totally random we had topics to choose from so I blended all the topics together can't exactly remember.
Fear
The sound of footsteps behind me
pounding down the street
I turn look around
nobody there
or was there?
All of the sudden
Icy fingers crawling up my throat,grasping it
pouring something down my throat
the taste of awful medicine
trickling down my throat
you try to spit it out
but its stuck
you ask urself
Am I going to die?
i have no idea where this came from it has nothing to do with me its just something i wrote.
