If you're 18 and pregnant is that considered teen pregnacy?

I'd say "yes". You still have "teen" at the end of your age and you're still young.

ok cause I might be pregnant.. which really scares me.. cause i wouldn't have the help from the dad... which I don't want help from him anyways. I am just really scared about this. I don't know what I am gonna go do if I am..

I've never have been in this situation with myself or a friend but I would encourage you to go to the doctor's and find out. If you are then they will help you find an agency that can give you all sorts of information.

i am going to a gynocologist next week wednesday... i am just sooo scared... cause I am applying for Mercy and.. idk.. just sooo scared....

Im glad that you are going to the doctor if you are its important to make sure that you are healthy as you can be to help the baby develop and be healthy its self.

yea, I may not like doctors, but this is uber important...

ok well if you are you have choices i tell this to my own friends too
1. you can keep the baby and support it.
2. adoption which in some cases is best for the child and the mom still gets to accomplish her dreams and make something of herself while the child can have a better life (In some cases not all idk ur home situation so it may not be best for you)
I believe a child is a blessing from god in my case it was best for me to keep my son for me and him he brings alot more purpose to my life and he opened my eyes instead of going and doing drugs like i used to i cuddle with him instead of drinking i think about him cause if i go to jail or something He wont have his mommy to take care of him......
and also if u are you have to realize its not about you anymore its all about that tiny helpless baby im praying for u hun!! love ya!

Adoption would probably be the best route only because I am not physically or mentally stable to have a kid. I know I would probably never see her/him but at least I would know he/she is in a good home. My home situation isn't the greatest for a baby. There is alot of yelling, there is a smoker in my house which I high disapprove but its my moms boyfriend. soo I have no autority over that. So yea I my home is not the best for a baby.

I may be wrong about this, but I believe there is an option for semi-open adoption. Its a way you can have contact with your child through letters, emails, photos and stuff like that. I think doesn't necessarily include face-to-face meetings, but I could be wrong. I'm really only familiar with open adoption because my cousin has it with her son's adoptive parents. That's when you communicate openly with the adoptive parents and can have face-to-face meetings with your child. There's also closed adoption, which means that the placing parent(s) and adoptive parents know very little or maybe even nothing about each other. And I'm not a professional at all, I just walked through this with my cousin, so I learned a little. There's definitely a whole lot more that goes into it. I think adoption is a beautiful thing, honestly Good luck with everything!
