Set Me Free *thanks Steph for the title!*

Every night I feel the
tears roll down my face
as if it was rain going
down a vase.
The hurt I can't handle
only gets worse as the pain
I really want to scream out
into the rain.
I am tired of you
controlling me.
So I bow my head
and sit on one knee.
I pray to God to
set me free
But I know that
Jesus is living in me.
I scream and yell
inside
I smile and laugh
outside
No one truly knows
how I feel
because they aren't
at my heel.
But I bow my head
and pray
Set me free so I can
be happy one day.
