Stressed beyond belief

[b]I have been with this guy on and off for about 8 years now. He has alot of mental issues going on. He is suppose to be on meds but he doesn't take them on a regular basis. He has been sleeping for going on day 5. He leaves all the house work to his mom and me. All we ask him to do is take out the trash and do some other chores around the apartment. Nothing major.
We went as far as calling his counselor to let her know what was really going on. sine we are pretty sure that he doesn't tell her everything that is going on.
I am to the point of finding someone else. His mom has already told me that i should do that.
Right now i just need advice as to what to do.
