So I looked through and I've never actually posted on this thread....weird!

Alright so the name is Ashley (Joy is not my middle name, but it was a name given to me prophetically because I would be so full of joy that's what people would call me and my Pastor's wie said Ashley Joy, that flows)

-I'm 19, will be 20 in December
-Have been a self injurer for 10 years, longest time without is 2 weeks short of 2 years
-I have smoked since the 6th grade (that makes you like 11?) but, I quit in September of 2010
-I struggle with food in general! There's days I go without eating and then others I can't stop....so now I'm trying to loose weight a healthy way and it's hard! I always want to starve myself!
-I'm an aspiring singer
-Eventually want to work in the Youth Criminal Detention System
-I am in the process of applying to Mercy Ministries
-I have one sister who is 18 years older than me and 1 niece, and 1 nephew (who is a year and a half younger than me!)
-I love fishing, swimming, hiking, and being by the water
-I like to read and write
-I work in a daycare with the little babies! I love it! Especially when they are super cuddly and only want you, makes me feel super loved!

I just want you all to know that eventhough your "stuff" might be hard to talk about it or that maybe you dont even understand why it happend. Well i want you to know that God will never let you go through more then you can handel and he will always provide a way out. Tho he doesnt cause things to happen he allows us to go throug them. good and bad to bring us closer to him and also so that the world might see his strenght and love in our weakness.

Im sure you guys all come from different backgrounds and have different stories but know that God is right there with you and he was with you through it all.

I am 32 years old. I have always had the heart to help teen girls. I am an only child. I would have loved siblings growing up but at the same time i like the one on one attention I got from my grandparents.
I enjoy writing,reading and creating websites, but most of all i enjoy helping girls with their problems.

Hey everyone, my name is Amanda. =] I currently live in Alberta, Canada. I just moved here from Las Vegas, Nevada. I have struggled with cutting since I was about 18, so almost 3 years now. But I currently have almost 11 months without it. The furthest I've ever gone! haha. I have been a Christian most of my life...but didnt fully give myself to Him 11 months ago when I stopped. I was only really able to stop with the help of God and my support system back in Vegas. I went to a program at church called Celebrate Recovery. It has completely changed my life. Its a Christ centered, 12 step program for all kinds of addictions. They have a program there also called Freedom for the students..and its actually based off of Life Hurts, God Heals. I thought it was awesome when I saw those steps on this site. I already love this site and can't wait to post more on here and meet more people. <3

Hey Ella!! I can sooo relate to you on DID part.. omg... I never told anyone that before.. lol.. but I have 5 alters. They don't usually post anything unless they ask for my permisison. Lol I very good control of my alters. Its sorta crazy. I have psychosis too... and I think we have about the same things. Well I am glad you are here! As I think all of us RBL girls are!! ^_^ Hope you feel comfortable here!!
