Christ is the Answer

Here's another poem I wrote a while back.

Christ is the Answer

When the darkness invades all the space in your soul-
Remember Christ is the answer.
When your world seems to start spinning out of control-
Just remember Christ is the answer.

As you look for peace that looks a mile away-
Remember Christ is the answer.
When the sun rises and haunts you with reminders of yesterday-
Just remember Christ is the answer.

When tears flood your soul with guilt and worthlessness-
Remember Christ is the answer.
As your blood pulses with the inner torment of nothingness-
Just remember Christ is the answer.

As the hope that you once knew is being comsumed by your emptiness-
Remember Christ is the answer.
As the hole in your heart grows larger as it fills itself with distress-
Just remember Christ is the answer.

As I sit here thinking of times I've denied the very Truth that finds the lost-
I start to remember Christ is the answer.
And when I look to the grace that shines through the blood of the cross-
My questions fade as I'm left with one conclusion:
CHRIST IS THE ANSWER!!!

The moral of this poem: Jesus' blood on the cross covers everything we have ever done and ever will do. We don't need to shed our own blood through cutting to punish ourselves because Jesus has already paid the price for ALL! To think that God sent His Son Jesus Christ so that He could be the answer to every problem in my life. But not just every problem but He also would be the answer to everything I would ever accomplish. Every tear I cried, every smile that came to my face, He would always have the answer for-He would always know why.
