What You Feel vs. What is Real
I am reading a book and there was a quote in it that really struck me and I thought it'd be good for you all to hear to.
"On a daily basis we're faced with two simple choices. We can either listen to ourselves and our constantly changing feelings about our circumstances, OR we can talk to ourselves about the unchanging truth of who God is and what He's accomplished for us at the cross."
--C.J. Mahaney
So many times we listen to our feelings instead of trusting in the unchanging truth and power of God. And we wonder why we are depressed?? Hmmmm. Just something to think about.
